Institute for Health, Sustainability, and Equity

A non-partisan, non-profit standard-setting organization bridging the gap between public policy and corporate reality.

Our Executive Mandate

The Institute for Health, Sustainability, and Equity (IHSE) is a non-partisan, non-profit organization with a clear and urgent mandate: to improve healthcare for all by expanding access to care and ensuring the long-term operational sustainability of health programs worldwide. We exist to bridge the critical gap between ambitious public policy objectives and the complex realities of corporate operations, fostering a global health ecosystem that is both equitable and resilient.

The "Root of Trust"

The IHSE does not deliver care or sell technology. Instead, we serve as the impartial "Root of Trust" for the entire health ecosystem. By developing and maintaining robust, evidence-based standards, accrediting a global network of third-party auditors, and providing verifiable certification, the IHSE provides the essential verification layer necessary for governments to trust private vendors and for private capital to confidently invest in public health infrastructure.

Our Operational Pillars

The IHSE operates through three distinct but reinforcing pillars, each crucial to our mission.

Standard Setting

The IHSE develops and maintains a suite of living standards to bridge the gap between public policy and corporate reality.

Accreditation

The IHSE acts as an accreditation body, licensing independent CPA and consulting firms to perform audits against our standards.

Certification

The IHSE issues the final Certificate of Compliance to state agencies and corporations who demonstrate adherence to our standards.
